Fabric must be faux but definitely should look and feel like the real thing. It also needs to be black and white, no browns. Does anyone know where I can find this?

Most fabric stores sell faux hides, so I'd go look at JoAnn Fabrics, NYFabrics, whatever chain of stores you have nearby. If you don't find what you want there, most fabric store employees are a wealth of information and should be able to point you in the right direction.
I agree with the other Answer lady, eBay has terrific fabrics to choose from!!

Check on good ole' eBay! I've bought a LOT of upholstery fabrics on there~everything from marine to tapestry~and you can find it CHEAP:)
