My female friend (who is not on her period or close) is suffering from pain bellow her belly button and hips as if she were having feminine cramps. It is an even pain from left to right, so I don't think she has appendicitis, and she says it feels pressured and bloated but she is going to the bathroom and eating normally. Is there any diagnosis for her discomfort? She has no other negative symptoms like fever or headache. I will get her to take some Tylenol, but would also like to know, out of curiosity what plausible causes there are for her discomfort.

She needs to discuss this with her parents and they should take her to the Dr. Appendicitis can refer pain all over the abdomen...you can't rule it out just because the pain goes a certain direction. Also, you can have a partial blockage in the intestines and still have bms and eat normally.

It would be best to see an OB-GYNE doctor first to assess her organs in the pelvic area. She might request to have an ultrasound done and "see" if there are any problems in the uterus, the ovaries, fallopian tubes. Any doctor can evalutate her anyway and refer to specialists as needed. The point is, PLS CONSULT A DOCTOR.

could be a bladder infection, PID, ovarian cyst, ectopic pregnancy, or cramps in between period, (I foget the medical name) Or, it could be nothing with the female organs, intestinal trouble:constipation, virus, flu...

Only her doctor can tell what the problem is. Maybe bladder infection.
