ok... I've got the goofy story.
my fiance and i went to dinner at outback where he planned on proposing.. apparently it was too packed in there, we couldnt hear ourselves think so he decided against doing it there. so we went to the osh kosh store to buy christmas gifts for his nephews... and we left. i got in the car and he was putting packages in his trunk. he got in the car and presented a beautiful bouquet of flowers. i was rather confused... not sure why he bought me flowers so randomly. then he looked at me really strange, so i gazed at the bouquet when the light caught something-- a diamond ring. I couldn't say anything but "Oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh" then blurted out "so are you going to ask me?" lol... he smiled and said yes.... i love you so much. will you marry me?
It was the best day of my entire life. i cannot wait to be his wife in october.

We took a day trip to some vineyards about 2 hours from home, and stopped in at a place we've been to many times before...at the end of the tasting, the woman said, we're featuring a special bottle today, and turned it around. There was a label on the back that said M, Will you marry me? R, and the ring was hanging off the neck of the bottle! It was a total shock, and all I kept saying was are you serious? You mean it? Well, of course, I said yes, and we're planning our wedding right now! We had a wonderful day!

I haven't ever been prosposed to, but my friend just recently was proposed to.
On my friends birthday her fiance told her to dress up really fancy. Her fiance surprised her with a limo that drove up in her drive way and then they drove to one of the fanciest steakhouses in Dallas and they were dancing on the dance floor when he then kneeled on one knee and asked her in Hebrew (they both know Hebrew) and then when she said yes, he slipped the ring on her finger. Before he proposed he asked someone to take pictures of them (without telling his fiance of course). I saw the pictures and it was so romantic! I like the way he did it all. =)

My fiance had the ring for a few weeks before the wedding, when he got it he showed everyone but me, and had me try the ring on, but i could not look at it. a few weeks later we were camping up at Mackinaw and my fiance told me he had the day planned out for Saturday. We went for a drive in the UP and in St. Ignace he had hired a plane to fly us to Mackinac Island. From there he had a horse and carriage pick us up and take us for a drive. We went to Fort Holmes wondered around there looking at the view. on our way down the steps in the woods and he had me turn around, and put the ring on my finger. we had been dating 5 1/2 years

He proposed to me at my family Reunion in front of my whole family! nobody knew except my dad! He didn't even tell my mom! so it was a total surprise to everyone! I cried like a little baby!

He proposed to me on my 21st in front of all my friends and family. Thats a night i will never forget.

As cheesily as humanly possibly. In the middle of a movie with a plastic ring with a glow tube in it. Laughing the entire time. It was quite hard to take him seriously. (I got the real ring the next day)

he proposed to me in my car. that was after church and that was the day when he and his family went to our house to meet my parents to ask for my hand in marriage. it was just a very simple proposal, i didn't say yes at first so he had to ask me again and i said yes and i gave him a hug.

Well we had already discussed marriage and all that, but he gave me the ring while i was breastfeeding our baby.. needless to say I gave it back and he is waiting for a more appropriate time to give it to me.
