Why would I want to imagine such a silly thing about such a serious subject.

I share a moral code
+ With hundreds of millions of other people
+ That is based on thousands of years of study and debate by people much more intelligent and spiritual than I
+ That I can both live by and discuss with others

With love in Christ.

No murder, no theft, no violence. This is a moral code that i think is universal. If god can forgive someone who does these things but dooms someone who disagrees with him then we're in trouble because anyone can kill or rape or steal as long as he believes in god then asks for forgiveness later and thats not much of a moral code.

It's impossible without the concept of ruler--rules are no good if there is no authority figure...so there always has to be someone...

Personally that's what I love about Christianity--it's about relationship with Jesus, and you naturally do the things he wants you to do...it's not about doing x+y to get to heaven...following rule 293.2.b to get to heaven...it's all about relationship.

You don't need religion to have morals.
