My youngest is now 2 but here is a list of things we were giving our daughters at the age of 1:
Breakfast:
french toast sticks
mini pancakes
waffles
yogurt
cereal (cheerios, life, kix)
bagel w/ cream cheese
soft scrambled eggs
sausage
Lunch:
grilled cheese
lunch meats (turkey, ham, roast beef)
hot dogs (cut length wise first and then into bites)
fish sticks
chicken nuggets
pizza
string cheese
Dinner:
chicken
noodles w/ butter and cheese or marinara sauce
mac and cheese (love the Annie's brand!)
hamburger
bratwurst
salmon
quesadillas w/ cheese
meatballs
Veggies:
bell peppers (cut into strips)
cucumbers
cooked carrots
broccoli
green beans
peas
edamamae (in the pod or shelled)
snap peas (they loved the crunch sound it makes!)
jicama
avacado
sweet potatoes
potatoes (mashed, baked, french fries)
We also found that when giving the veggies if there was something to dip them in it was a big hit. try these:
hummus (beware of stinky breath!)
ranch dressing
guacamole
Fruit:
banannas
blueberries (cut in half)
watermelon
cantaloupe
honeydew
pears
plums
peaches
strawberries
raspberries (cut in half)
blackberries (cut in half)
pineapple (little bit the citrus can hurt their tummies)
grapes (cut up!!!!!)
Snacks:
goldfish
yogurt
popsicles
muffins
fruit
string cheese
crackers
We pretty much gave our girls what we were eating in smaller bites and portions. I was also always consicous of what was going on their plate and tried really hard to make sure that there were at least 3 colors of the rainbow on the plate. This also made it fun for them...and my girls are now great eaters!
Stay away from peanut products, esp. peanut butter and popcorn is a HUGE choking hazard.

My 3 year old does a similar at the same time as he's feeding himself so I each each now and then positioned the timer on and tell him he has 10 minutes to end his sandwich and so on then both the canines or the bin receives it. This worked for a at the same time as and used to freak him out slightly, now he's truly chuffed to grant it to the canines!! he's speedier and eats more beneficial at the same time as i'm in a hurry and feed the youngsters myself (our daughter's 2) so that they oftentimes get fed off a similar spoon like a touch production line! also if he won't be able to cope at the same time with his major foodstuff in lifelike time I truly oftentimes do not enable snacks or morning/afternoon tea so he's hungry at tea time. sturdy success.

Usually a lot of finger foods. Green Beans, Mashed Potatoes,Peaches, and Pears. Almost anything cut up into tiny bites so that they can't get choked on it.

baby cereal.
normal cereal (such as Cheetah Chomps)
pureed fruit (apples, pears, bananas. berries)
vegetables (carrots, sweet potatoes, peas, beans)
yogurt
pureed meats (chicken, turkey, beef)
Just tried a bagel yesterday and thought that was pretty cool.
For some reason, my little guy, doesn't like a lot of texture, but he likes stuff he can pick up.

We delay all solids the entire first year, yes this means no baby cereal or jar food. At the one year mark we start introducing foods one a day and they eat table food. Whatever I made for my dinner they eat.
