Take at least 2 bathing suits- You'll probably wear one every day. Take a couple of t-shirts, a couple of pairs of shorts, a long sleeved sweater or jacket (it can get chilly at night, esp if you've been in the hot sun all day)
Take at least one really dress-up outfit (some cruises only allow formal attire in main dining room)
Take some good sunblock, and sunglasses. If you wear contacts, make sure to have a pair of glasses with you if you have them. (My contacts hurt my eyes b/c of the wind at times)
Take a couple of pairs of sandals and flip flops, and 1 good pair of walking shoes.
If you plan on going to the casino or the clubs onboard, take some going-out clothes.
I would also take a "beach bag" so you can take your stuff to the pool, or you can use it for shopping while you are ashore.
Take a few good books to read, and a small amount of snacks if allowed.
Also, take a lot of $1 bills with you so that you don't have to mess with exchange rate on your credit card. (most vendors will take US money in touristy areas) your cabin should have lockbox to keep it in.

I wish I knew what cruise line you are using. Some are much more casual than others. I'd pack shorts, capris, and tees for the days, a swimsuit and wrap, and some cute skirts, tops, etc. for evenings....maybe a cocktail dress or two if you will be attending formal dinners. Flip flops and nice sandals for evenings, maybe sneakers if you're planning some adventures. A cap, shades, and lots of sunscreen. Several tee shirts. Don't forget your pjs and "underroos." Have fun!!

nicely, for my area, I consistently prefer to have pepper spray (a sock crammed with rocks works besides in case you are able to no longer locate any) and my magazine, everywhere i circulate. in basic terms in case. yet hi - it quite is in basic terms me =P And a competent e book can do wonders. And a bandana's remarkable in case you are able to desire to cover grimy hair. wish you have a great/exciting holiday..
