So I really like this girl who I've been very good friends with for a while. She seems to like me too, but there's 2 things that are troubling me from taking that "next step" so to speak:
1. She hangs out with this older guy a lot, and I'm sure she likes him, but I'm not sure if she likes him in a boyfriend or good friend way. At least her friend used to say he's her "tentative boyfriend."
2. She's not interested in relationships till she graduates college.
Her friends say that we'll be a great match, but.... What should I do? Should I stay at a good friend level considering the current situation?

Be sure to differentiate yourself from the other guy in a good way.

Be romantic, mysterious, and a friend too. Make sure she clearly understands that you like her, that you'd drop the 'friend' status and love her madly in a New York minute . . . .

Do nice little things for her and make the most of the time you two spend together, no matter who else is around.

It's a great time for you to learn how to compete for a woman's attention. Even if it doesn't work out with her, this is GREAT training for keeping a wife in love with you forever . . .

Go for it!

Well I actually have a few tips for you.

First of all, if she is not considering relationships then you will just end up getting hurt because you two don't want the same things.

And if you're really stuborn and think you could change her mind about relationships, talk to her and ask her if she likes you and this other guy. If you're uncofortable in person, ask over phone/internet. If she says she likes the other guy either 1. Make her jealous by not paying that much attention to her and more to other girls or 2. Move on.

If she likes you only then ask her if she would consider a relationship with you. If not, move on and stay friends. It's the best thing to do anyway

Does the guy like her? If so, then just stay really close friends. If you don't think the guy is interested in her, then go for it! Invite her to the movies. If she says 'I don't date.' Then just say 'This isn't a date, it's just two close friends getting together!' And leave it at that.

The number one thing that will work on any girl is to make them laugh. If you make the right jokes she will start showing interest in you that she has for you or the new interest you have shown her. If she likes you and you make her laugh she will definetly show it to you in either bold ways or gradual ways

Tell her how you feel. Girls always love to hear that someone loves them. Then you can see what happens...
