There are a handful of guys at my school that I didn't really care about the first time I saw them (even though one came with a good recommendation from a friend) but now I think they're pretty cool. Just show girls that you're polite, interesting, and fun to be around. So much of first impressions is just physical appearance, and any girl worth dating knows that looks are temporary and won't make up for an obnoxious, rude personality.

I always give a guy a second chance, but no more unless i think they are worthy of it. I make bad first impressions all the time, so I guess if i give them another chance, they would give me one. you know? I know when a guy can be good to me, and I know the ones that would just turn out to be like jerks, but I am sometimes wrong so i always offer a second chance. its only fair.

Pretty close to zero, but not impossible. Personally, I've never met a person who turned out to be a whole lot better than they actually seemed to be when you first meet them. They either just stay the same or it just seems to go downhill personality wise. I guess the saying that first impression counts can be taken to heart here.

well the truth is first impressions is a must on your first meeting.and the rest will follow.when you meet someone.it has to have that umf.the person has to be attracted to you vice versa.i've been in many first impressions date.a lot of them i had to turn down.no chemistry.more likely it won't work.you could be the most alluring human but if there's no umf.as far as us women liking a guy, just be yourself, don't tell to many stupid jokes that we don't get.don;t talk about your past gf's.make her interesting.ask her about her interest.her hobbies or what makes her smlie.

First impressions are, like 85% in my case. I'm highly unlikely to recover from a bad first impression.

For a guy to get me to like him, he should behave like a prince and a friend, not be stuck on himself, have a good sense of humor, and be genuinely kind and caring.

If he also does nice things for little old ladies (or men) and treats waitresses and doggies with respect, I can fall in love with him on the sport!

Honestly, guys that I haven't liked since day one had little to no chance. Either because they're immature, annoying, rude, or simply below my standards.

It is only likely for the guy to change my opinion about him if he surprises me and proves me wrong about him. For example, if I think he's immature, rude, and stupid, he can completely change my opinion of him if he can prove that he can talk about important issues or if he can show manners or gestures that a gentleman should, and if he can prove he's not a turd by not embarassing himself in front of people or by the things that come out of his mouth.

OK. There's this boy in my class that I'm now drooling over. But, when I first met him, I thought he was a looser/freak. One thing that I decided to do was give him another shot. That's what sunk it.
So, basically, first impressions aren't everything. If you just keep it cool and be yourself around her, she'll be head over heels for you!

If he seemed like a jerk on first impression, it might be slim chances. But, just show that you're sweet, sensitive, funny, charming, and definetly mature. But, if you're not like that and you end up going into a relationship- then you'll have have to fess up that you're not like that.

Pretty slim, unless he's has some brilliant intellect or hidden charm. Most of the guys I have crushes on, I start crushing on soon after I meet them
