Talk to your bankruptcy attorney. Your refund should have been addressed as part of your bankruptcy case. It's entirely possible that you have to turn it over to the bankruptcy trustee.

When you had your creditors' meeting the Trustee told you exactly what to do with any aniticipated income tax refund. He told you not to cash the refund check prior to the time you notified your attorney and him. Now, if you didn't tell him that you were receiving a refund (in excess of your exemption amount) then he might not have said anything to you about it.
