I weaned my son from the bottle three days ago. I'm having a hard time getting him to go too sleep, he's not been very fussy, just restless at bedtime.Moms out there give me some advice on how to make it easy on him to go sleep without the bottle.

if you arent opposed to it you could give him a pasifier. or you could just rub his belly or back till he is sleeping.

Cut out naps at least 5 hours before bedtime. Other than that, its an adjustment the baby has to make. Sometimes all you can do is wait until the child gets used to a change.

try playing some sothing music quietly in the background that always helps my son and a pacifier or his thumb usually works if your son is older that 6 months you can get him a soft stuffed animal to sleep with to help him have something to hold and hopefully he will forget about wanting a bottle

Let him cry it out. Crying won't hurt him or emotionally scar him. He needs to "withdraw" from his bottle habit. He must go through this. Close the door, don't go back in, let him fuss on his own no matter how long it takes. He'll soon get over it.
