Do you mean the hole you put your earring in or the part where your ear and head connects [that sounds really weird]? If you mean the hole then well yes I have skin the peels off [dead skin]. If you mean the other part then yes as well. It almost like a cut and if you bother it it peels thats what happened to me dont irritate it.

Your not properly cleaning away the drainage and flakes.

You might consider taking them out to really clean your lobes and earrings. If you have dry skin anyway may I suggest a little oil around the hole to soften the skin?

No, it's fine! As long as it's not accompanied with any symptoms of infection (redness, pain, swelling, itching, etc). Just make sure you clean the dead skin off frequently.
