Should I go for a checkered look and get black and white.

Get whatever color you want. The color comes from the little bands that hold the arch wire to the brackets and they can be changed every month. You are not stuck with any color scheme once you choose it.

Start with your school colors if you don't have any other ideas or match up with the closest holiday colors.

well, it's st patricks day, you could go green and white. Easter is coming up, pink and yellow would be fun. my son has a gold base and my favorite combination is teal and gold.

You can get any color you want thats the thing everytime they cahngethe things you can get a new color.

Do not get white. It'll make your teeth look stained. Go for blue and red tones.
