i dontsmoke, but i was around it yesterday in my friends car and i dont want it to be in my system because i have a drug test this week and i dont want to fail because of my friends. if it does go in from second hand smoke, how long will it be in for?

hmmm, a likely story.
basically, you can get trace amounts in your system from passive smoking ... however, if you fail a drug test it's because you were smoking.
the old 'passive smoking' excuse is the oldest one in the book, everyone's wise to it now.

Yes. That's why breathing second hand smoke is so dangerous. You can get a high just by breathing second hand marijuana smoke. I can't answer how long it stays in your system. I do not want to miss lead you with a wrong, or made up answer. I hope someone else gives you the answer you are searching for.

yes...as second hand smoke.just as cigarette smoke.does
there are cases where people have brought law suit due to second hand smoke...as far as it showing up on a drug test this week I really don't think it will, but in a long term situation you could be effected......OK you got me thinking and there alot of different sites but the on below looks pretty straight forward and it say 3-30 days(and alot more)

Yes it's in your system if you smelled it.For how long I am not sure.But if you are going to have to do a pee test a NEVER FAIL way of beating it is pick up TWO (2) packets of salt like they offer at fast food restaurants like McDonald's or burger king and dump them into the specimen cup before you pee into it and make sure that its totally dissolved into the urine sample.When they put your sample into the test machine it will not be able to recognize it as urine and it will punch out a negative reading.My friends and I have all used this method and it has never failed.A friend of mine got high right before the test and using the salt method he passed the test.

Yes, and it stays in your system just as if you had been the one smoking. Normally about 30 days.

It's possible that it could be in your system, but the drug test won't be able to read it.
