she has a yo yo relationship with him. dumps him, gets back together, dumps him, back together, ect...its been going on for awhile. he said hes over her and her games and dosent want to be the backup guy anymore. since he and i are friends.... he wants to take me out..... she'd kill me though.... i dont know. im a senior and i'll only see her for another month and a half...
what do you guys think??

Why do that. You have feelings. If she is your friend or was your friend then let him go and the idea of being with him go. Trust me no guy is worth the hurt and pain that is left behind when going out with a friends ex.
He doesnt think much about you if he keeps coming back to you after she dont want him and you must not think much about yourself if you always put yourself on the back burner for him. Dont get caught up in the feeling of infatuation.

i think that even though you will only see her for another month it's still not good to lose a friendship over and plus if their breaking up and getting back together then you shouldn't even bother with him because there's no guarantee they'll do it again and I'm sure that you don't want to be hurt so talk to someone else that is worth it because there's no use of losing a friend

I think this is a very BAD idea. It must be sumthin n their relationship if he continues 2 get back with her when she cums back. If she's a friend of yours then imagine karma or her doin sumthin stupid 2 get back at u!? Only do it if he's REALLY worth it. And if he is...then go get em!
