John 17:3- "This means EVERLASTING LIFE, there taking in knowledge of you, the only True God and of the one whom you sent forth, JESUS CHRIST."

At Luke 4:18,19 he quoted from the book of Isaiah "Jehovah's spirit is upon me, because he anointed me to declare good news to the poor, he sent me forth to preach a release to the captives and a recovery of sight to the blind, to send the crushed ones away with a release, 19 to preach Jehovah's acceptable year." With that he rolled up the scroll, handed it back to the attendant and sat down; and the eyes of all in the synagogue were intently fixed upon him. 21 Then he started to say to them: "Today this scripture that YOU just heard is fulfilled."

(Philippians 2:9-to-11) Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

(Phi 2:10) That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

(Phi 2:11) And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

I don't recall which one, but in one of the Gospels, he tells us He came not to destroy mankind, but to save him from damnation, which to me means the same thing. God Bless.

It does not but if you have faith you believe what you are told without questioning. Questioning leads to science and heresy. Heresy leads to hell so beware...
