My diet includes apples, oranges, kiwi, (no bananas or mangoes) carrots, and cucumbers. For breakfast I have 2 egg whites, and a slice of whole wheat bread. Will this diet help me lose weight? If yes, what should be my average weight loss per week? Has anyone else tried this?
I'm 5 feet and 119 pounds (overweight, I think.) I like peanuts and I don't really like milk, meat, chicken or tofu.

Oh yeah, and I do some stationery cycling - about 300 cals everyday. I do include some freshly squeezed orange juice in my diet.

You need to eat a variety of foods! A healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week.
Your breakfast sounds good, but you should include a fruit or a serving of 100% fruit juice.

I don't think you're overweight, but if you feel like you need to lose a few pounds, do it in a healthy way.

Hey i feel the same. Im 5'3 and i was 129 pounds and ppl told me i wasnt overweight, but i KNEW i was chubby. I lost 10 pounds now im 117-119 pounds.
You dont have to go to the extremes of banning bananas and only eating egg whites and whole wheat bread.

I think that you could do perfectly fine in losing about 10 pounds like i did just by eating healthy. Cut out the amount of food in general if u tend to eat alot, and just stop snacking when you are bored. and eat a big breakfast, and a small supper.

Thats how i lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks and ive been keeping that weight for last 2 months without trying to eat less.

if you still growing (you did not tell us what your age is) this diet is not really healthy for you.

You still needs lots of protein: meat, milk and eggs.

If not, you will have a height of 5 feet all your life - which is way tooooo short

you will lose weight but you will ose your normal size forever

it isn't really good just 2 eat fruits and veggies. because fruits have a lot of sugar in them. egg whites are good for u so taht is good. and wheat bread is good for u. but u might want 2 eat other foods, but just watch wat you eat. don't eat much meat cause it has lots of fat. such as chicken, bacon, etc. bananas r good for your body, but it has sugar in them also. o yeah. don't eat 2 much sugar. if u watn 2 loose weight u also have 2 exercise. so exercise also. i am not sure how much u will loose so yeah.
