My cat is almost 19 years old and has been very healthy. She runs around like she was still a kitten. Recently i took her to the vet with a UTI and had her medicated. They then put her on a diabetic diet as she is slightly over weight (14lbs) and gave her the full vaccines. It's now been about 2 weeks and she suddenly is not walking and when she does walk it's very slowly and is walking very strange with her hind legs (they almost limp) and she will not eat. She'll lay in bed all day and i have to hand feed her. Someone suggested that it was a stroke. any suggestions?

Call your vet again.

Take her back to the vet.It could have been a stroke or a number of other things as well as her being 19 years old. Something that changes so quickly should be checked out by the vet.

Take her back to the vet immediately. It might be nothing maybe the vaccines, or the new diet just had a bad effect on her, or maybe it's serious like a stroke or something. Either way take her to the vet better safe than sorry.

Any way about it, you need to get your cat to the vet. If a cat stops eating for a prolonged period of time (think two-three days) it can cause massive problems with it's liver. Sounds like you've got enough on your hands as it is, I'd call first thing tomorrow morning and get her in ASAP

She could be having a bad reaction to the new medications she's been put on. Call your vet ASAP

Awwww...I hope your cat is okay. Maybe she is sick or maybe the medicine is doing something to her like making her not feel good...Hope this helps...I would also call the Vet and tell them. They would know!!!
