The best whitening agents are also the cheapest. Use a tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide mixed with a half teaspoon of baking soda. Gently brush twice a day. The combined ingredients will not only whiten your teeth substantially, but also give you the freshest breath. These ingredients are found in the most popular and expensive toothpastes and toothpolishes. You can purchase a box of Arm and Hammer baking soda for dollar, and a quart of perioxide for about the same. They will last for months. Happy brushing!

As i'm sure these home rememdies do seem to work, they are harmful for your teeth enamel and you shouldn't use these. Lemon juice and hydrogen peroxide especially wear down the enamel. This will cause your teeth to appear translucent or thin. Your best bet is something like crest whitestrips, although they cost a pretty penny.
