theres no where in the south that you can get deposits for cans. i see alot of cans have deposits in ma,cal, mass, del, ny. 5 cents, and more states woundering if they can be taken from south to there to get deposits, have anyone taken cans to get deposits.

You could possibly get them accepted here in Michigan. Some places use a machine in which case they may be able to reject them. Some stores don't have the machines and people just count them and throw them in bins. They would never know if a Coca Cola can was from Michigan or Georgia. If you get caught it's a $500 fine per container.
And to make it worth the gas for the trip you'd need one hell of a lot of cans.

Hell go for it, at least the cans end up recycled. And if the government loses money big deal. The blow millions of times more than what you will be taking from them on worthless expenditures all the time.

No, there is a code, and they will not accept them. Also, have you never watched the Seinfeld episode where they wanted to take cans to Michigan to get the 10 cent deposit, rather than the 5?

I stay in Michigan and we have a 10 cent deposit.
