this is a typical scenario, a stranger, girl is walking down and u find her appealing and u get close to her as a girl what would u do even if he looks harmful and if woukd touch u?

In most cases, I'd just keep walking. If for any reason, I was uneasy, I would try to do one of the following:
- get somewhere where there are a lot of people... a coffee shop, a store, public transportation, even a cab, and have the driver take me around the corner or down the block. Yeah, there's a minimum cost in most cities, but what's your life worth?
- try to catch the eye of another woman. Somehow, we have a 6th sense for when one of our "sisters" is in trouble, and needs a save from an uncomfortable situation with a guy. Most women will respond to that look, and come up with something clever to get you out of it.
- find a cop, security guard, or some other authority figure.
- worst case, scream "Fire" and run like .... well, you get the idea.

Ok first of all, you dont know this girls story, you dont know if she is married, or dating someone so you should definatly not get too close, maybe strike up a interesting conversation with her, or make a joke to losen things up, and then you cand find out what is ok and whats not. Become friends if nothing else.
I personaly stay away from men at all costs, If a man is walking behind me in the grocery store that I dont know, and he seems fishy to me at all I will get away as soon as I can. If I see a guy looking at me from across the store I avoid eye contact and keep my eyes peeled so he will stay away.
I however am happily engaged.

If he looks harmful, I'd get away. This IS 2007 you know. Can't be too safe you know. Now if you're in a safe place, say"Hi" and see what the response is.

OH MY GOD!!!! R u kidding??? A harmful looking man coming up to me and wanted to touch me!!!!! You'd get maced, punched, scratched, jabbed in the eye w/ something sharp and once I knew you couldn't get far, I'd have the police snag your behind and leave you jail.
