Asking a girl out...?

Question

Well, i know this girl and her best friend is going out with my best friend. Thats not the point.
Day by day i am getting to know the girl more and more but i am a shy person and i am shy to ask her out. I was thinking the other day, would it not come naturally? Maybe we get to know each other so much that without having to ask her out we start dating?

She always opens conversations with me in college and on msn, infact the other day she even asked for my number on msn... What do i do? How should i make her realise that i like her or what hints would she give me if she liked me?

She looks quite good and there are better looking guys then me... So what shall i do?
Remember i am shy and the reason i dont ask her out is because if she rejected me then i wont have the heart to face her again and she is in all my lessons at college!!!

One thing about girls. If they like you, they like you, and if they don't, there is not a thing in the world you can do to change that, period. If a girl does like you, it's just because she does. Your job is to not be a wussy. First lesson, always limit your time with her. Say "This has been fun but I have to go" when you talk on the phone. ALWAYS hang up FIRST. NEVER let her end the conversation. Also, when on dates, always make fun of at least one thing about her. Girls LOVE it when guys tees them about stuff. They are used to it and it really breaks the ice. Make fun of her shoes, or how hard she tried to match her outfit, her choice of phone service, her sunglasses, just be a little bit of a jerk. NOT a complete as$ mind you! but be a jerk. Play like you like her but your not totally into her. Let TIME be what brings you guys together perminetly. Do stuff over the summer but never rush any thing. If she is into you, she will stay but if she starts to distance her self from you, NEVER beg for attention.. EVER! If you do you might as well cut your penis off. When she is not spending time with you, tell her how much fun you were having with others. You are the MAN! Be the man.

She probably already likes you. But yes, getting to know her better will make the actual "asking out" easier to do. If you're just hanging out before or after class talking, it would be easier to say something like: "I'm craving a coffee, want to go grab one after class?" After getting together a couple of times alone, as friends, it will feel much more natural and comfortable to ask her out on a real date.

well, just to let you know girl rejections are not as harsh as guy rejections.. I'm shy and I've been let down a ton of times but I took a chance, and if you really like this girl, she probably sences it (guys are horrible at hiding emotion) and she probably thinks about you asking her out all the time...

just ask her out, or if the opportunity arises when you four are together and ur best friend is talking about going on a date with that girls best friend you can cut in and say why not make it a double date as a joke. then you can tell from that girls reaction if she wants you or not. if it doesnt work out you can always say it was a joke and nobody gets hurt :P

Be confident! You said there are better looking guys, but she asked you for your number, right? It's obvious she is into you. Get to know her more...talk to her, invite her places, and compliment her. When the moment is right, you'll ask her out without even thinking about it. And don't fear rejection...it'll get you nowhere. Instead of thinking of what will happen if she rejects you, just think of what will happen if (when!) she says yes! Good luck!

Ask her out! She obviously likes you! If she says no, just tell her that you were trying to be friendly to her. Ask her to something that seems kind of like friends would go to. If she rejects you and she's a nice girl, she'll probably not be mean about it.

I think you should ask her.If she denies you and is a true friend she will not think of it as ruining your friendship.I think she likes you as more than a friend though.Maybe you could write her a note and slip it to her between classes if you are this nervous.It may seem a little middle schoolish to you but it just might work.Give it a try.
