Reheat the cake for about 5 minutes. Make sure that you have run a knife around the edges to release. Let go.

Make sure it's cooled fully. Cakes contract as they cool. If it's too hot, it will stick for sure. When it's cooled about 2 hours, run a butter knife around the edge of the pan, and invert on a plate. You should hear the cake plop down onto the plate.

take a knife and wedge it all around the pan to loosen the cake. turn the cake upside down and gently tap the pan all over until it comes aloose. it may break apart in pieces....next time oil and flour the cake pan before you pour the batter in there.

u have to pre-grease the pan first
