I just want a healthy baby.
When I was born my mother wanted to give me up for adoption, because I was a girl and she wanted a boy. I got treated differently my whole life by her, because my dad didn't allow her to give me up like she had wanted to. I will never be like that....never....

I think both genders have their pros and cons.
Girls go through their bitchy stage and boys will/could be rebellious. It all depends on how they are raised so either could be better. I'd prefer a girl so I could raise her the way I was raised but I'd like a boy as well.
I'm intrigued as to what I'll end up with!

Boys because they get along better and you can just send them out to hang with their friends all day so they're not a pain around the house. Maybe one girl so that I can take her to the mall and do her hair and stuff. But mostly boys. Also it would be cool to have a family that's big on sports.

before I had kids, I wanted girls, when the ultrasound for my second showed he was a boy, I panicked for a second, I just assumed it would be a girl too! How do I clean his parts, etc. Then I got excited, we'd have one of each, I could say my son, and the only hard part so far was having him circumcised....
I'm so glad not to have gotten my way, my family is now complete!

I would want boy, boy, girl, boy, maybe girl. But I definitely want two boys (NOT TWINS) before a girl. That way in case my husband dies my eldest son can take care of me and the rest of his siblings and if his sisters get abused by their husbands when they get married the sons can go and teach the husband a lesson on how to respect my daughter.

I have two boys already. I can think of good reasons to want either a girl or a boy if we have another, but no cons. Once again, we'd wait to be surprised and celebrate either way!

I honestly dont see why it matters that much about what gender the child is..its not like you have a say in what it will be, might as well accept either one.

I would rather both being of the same gender beacuse more conflict forms if opposite in sex.

I have a son, and I wanted a son, because I know I can have the most influence in his life. His mommy is a bad influence. She's clumsy.
