I'm sixteen years old and I know that when I get older I want to be a pro barrel racer. Does anyone know much about the kinds of things they do? Like, how they travel, win, ect....Thank you!

I am a really good barrel racer (not to brag). It takes years and time to make you a good barrel racer. Enjoy the shows as you will get noticed for your excellence.

Here is what I say.............

PRO: Being at the National Level, I like the prize money. You can get thousands of dollars. I like traveling too.

CON: Traveling can make your horse stiff and tired. Your horse can get a virus at being in the barns you have never been before. When I went to Quarter Rama in Toronto, my horse got colic and got severly ill and I had to spend thousands to get her back in shape. You must have a lot of money to have a really good horse to win shows. It will take a toll on you at the shows as you have to get really early and stuff.
