Itunes 7.1.1?

i had itunes 7.0 and upgraded to 7.1 then itunes didnt work so i went back to 7.0. now apple softaware update says there is a itunes7.1.1 out and it fixes "compatibility issues" so my question is will itunes 7.1.1 work on my Windows XP Pro SP2 computer

Yes it will - the new updates launched is for xp and Vista users. It can still be used on xp however the new update ensures that Vista users can now also use Itunes.
I updated my software and itunes is working fine on xp home.
