We can't choose a certain group to be fair to. If we let bad things happen to certain people, those bad things can spread to us all and become the norm. That's how sayings like, "that's just the way it's always been" come about. People no longer feel outrage because their senses become dulled as injustice becomes commonplace. If injustice is allowed (in one area) there is the potential for it to spread to areas where there is no injustice, thus it is a threat. But honestly, where in the world is there no injustice!!
