If you have an idea of how far along she is, I would suggest isolating her in a small room or large cage for a week or so before birth. Otherwise she will not have her kittens in a box. She will have them in a spot that she knows you can't get to, and it will be as hidden as possible. If you don't want kittens in your closet, that is what you need to do.

She will do a lot of pacing.
Do you realize that for every 1 person born, there are 7 puppies and kittens
born? At best, 1 will find a forever home.
And don't forget, that every "Free-to-good-home" litter takes homes away
from animals already at the shelter.

STOP letting your pets; or your friends, relatives or co-workers pets
contribute to the problem.
If you love animals, it is NOT ENOUGH to merely say "My pets are fixed".
Vow to educate and enable others to fix their pets too.
Spaying just 1 female dog or cat, will prevent 6 others from ending up in a
shelter the following year.
Please be part of the solution, NOT the problem!
Thank you. ^..^

Make the box up ahead of time.Put it in an out of the way dark if possible place.Let her know its there and let her get use to it. She should start going to it on her own. When she is ready to give birth she should go into it own her own.
