there was no comparison between christian europe and the Islamic world in the middle ages.
The Islamic world was in a golden age of science, learning, medicine, cleanliness, architecture, etc. While christian europe was the opposite.

Because during the Middle Ages Christians were pretty much in general, barbarians. There's no way around that.

largely because christians rejected all science insisted the world was flat rejected all the knowledge of ancient grease etc, without muslim science from this time the rest of europe would have been stuck in the dark ages and launched several crusades against them killing many of them

At that time Muslim culture was the most advanced of any other nation/region. While Europeans were sleeping with their pigs Muslims were making scientific, literary, and architectural advances.

i am Muslim, but i'm not sure why except at that time our knowledge was more advanced and now the terrorists gave Islam a bad name and now thanks to them the tables are turning and it's ALL Muslims fault. but its ok because we are strong and we will take what ever the ppl throw our way. because no one can take our faith. the terrorists took out good name, but never our faith.

i'm sure both sides did their fair share of name calling
that, and the muslims did have quite an advance civilization at their time (medicine,science, etc.)
