When were you exposed? It normally takes about 10 days after exposure to start having symptoms... Chicken pox (varicella virus) is highly contigous.. airborne or direct contact... a few days before seeing symptoms most patients describe general feeling of malaise.. (ichy, weak, flu like).. and a low grade fever... the bumps normally start on the head and trunk of the body.. so look on your chest and back.. 1st the bumps are sporatic red bumps ussually circular some people say shaped like rose petals.. then takes a while for them to fill with fluid .. like blisters.. and starts popping and healing.. I believe like 5-7 days.. the fluid is contagious the person is contagious though with airborne secretions.. BEFORE they notice the bumps.... the rash of course itches tremendously... and causes bad scars.. indentions (Pock marks)... good luck..

Oh you feel flu like just not yourself. Fever, headache just malaise and then you have a blistery bump that itches.
Once that opens wham- spots. Generally on your torso or warm places - first.

I was sick a good day before a spot appeared (I was 15)!
