I mean my guy completely opened up to me, telling me things he never told anyone, not even his ex-wife. He opened up, wanted me to know what was going on in his head and life and practically living with me. Now he says I'm too controlling and want to know to much because I ask questions. Am I going crazy or what?? This man is not only the love of my life but my best friend of 6 yrs., and now he's cut out for 3 days, saying he needs space. I feel like I've entered the twightlight zone!!!! He's always been 'wishy-washy', its part of his personality, he is a gemini after all. But why shut out what he refers to as "the love of his life and best friend"? What gives?????

Sounds like he is having a commitment-phobic type panic reaction. I would give him space, after all, he asked for it. Calm yourself and don't jump to conclusions. Wait for him to contact you. Listen to him when he talks to you. Only then can you know what he's thinking.

Some men do that from time to time. He afraid that he opened up a little too much,,,and now hes afarid of getting hurt for some reason. Maybe he was hurt in the past by other females,,,and this is his normal reaction. Pulling away from someone is what men do when they get scared of getting too close to someone or because they are feeling smothered by the female. Give him his space and time and if he really loves you and it was meant to be then he will come back to you with open arms. Whatever you do DONT call him because if you do then he will feel like you are pushing him and that will make him stay away longer. Good luck.

I would say its his extra baggage mainly. Sounds as though he had a bad first marriage and was too young at the time felling he missed out on running with his friends etc...I would say you said or did something that through him back into the past and now he is scared or has cold feet. Just a guess though.

We thin it's a goo idea at first then once we think about it we relize that we made a mistake and get flustered and need our space. My advice don't make a big deal out of it he'll come around

Maybe he's just freakin. Give him a little space. Guys aren't girls, sharing to them means exposure, not always just "sharing." He may feel too exposed. Give him some time and re-group. Be supportive and he'll come back.

He's probably afraid of committing him self again, after failing in his first marriage. I'm not saying it was his fault, just that he has had a failed marriage and that this might be what is holding him back from you.
