guys-what makes you ask a girl out?

so there's this guy that is two years older and he's really sweet, nice, funny, fun to be around, etc, and we like each other, we both know that much. we talk just about every day, usually on instant messenger, and apparently he said a few weeks ago to one of our mutual friends that i was pretty but i didn't talk v. much so now we've been talking quite a lot and i think i've opened up more now. the only thing is, i have a suspision(sp.?) that he thinks i'm either 1. weird-with opening up comes out the real me-and i do say weird things sometimes, not a lot, but i worry he thinks im odd. 2. a 'younger sister type'-i hope not but i worry about that too! or 3. too desperate-i'm not exactly sure i come off that way, but again, i worry, and i just don't want him to think of me as pushy, etc. anyway, we're going on a class trip in a couple months, and i want him to ask me out there, or atleast kiss me. what should i do? {p.s. never had a bf or kiss before}

yes, im thinking of asking him out, but i've already asked him to do things the first few times, and sort of already asked him on a date/to hang out next friday...so i don't want to come on too strong or push him too far. i don't like making first moves. thank you for the answer tho.

ok i am 15 btw, and the thing is i would like him to ask me now but it would be a really ideal time then and having him by then is kind of my goal..so yeah

its isnt necessarily a turn off...but not quite comfortable for a guy to hook up with a girl that didnt had a bf before...my guess is just try to act more cool...less childish (the childish attitude will help you when you get a lil bigger....more mature...thats the ironic part) the deal is try to act like you have enough experience and you are pretty onfident in what you`re doying...that will probably take the stress off him...but not too much...we stll like to be the ones in control :D...hope i helped...take it like an advice and not too literal

1. stop worrying about statement 1-2-3 you typed up above and just be yourself. He is probably worried about the same things.

I can relate! well if you said that he likes you..why would he think anything about the above 3 chocies?
but..I think you should get one of your mutal friends to talk to him about askin you out. and why wait a couple months? why not now?? and btw..how old are you? thats what this depends on kinda

3. he prolly will ask you out or kiss you if you show him you like him. show him by talking to him in person and paying attention to him. he prolly thinks your shy because you talk mostly in instant messenger.

I think if you like this guy, you should ask him out. He may like you, but be really nervous when it comes to asking girls out. Ask him out! He'll appreciate it....
