hi, i was wondering does he like me ? okay well idk but i'm just wondering. okay when we're in class, these groups of students left and it was only me and him in our row. i sat to the seat next to him and he didn't say anything. then when we were learning about pie (math term) and he asked me about how to do it, he kept asking and asing, and i explained and expalined. then after that we were joking around and i thought he said that i was ugly and i asked him "did u just say i was ugly ?" and he said "i'd never say that to u" and then about 15min later we were joking around again and this time he did say i was ugly and i went back one seat away from him and then he said "tey, i was just kidding,don't be so serious" and then i scooted back next to him and he was looking @ my project and asking me more questions. he complemented about the picture of me too, all nice and everything. so can u please tell me if he likes me ? my friend said we oughta go out but idk, i need 2 kno if he likesme

he's just being friendly. he was joking around with you, which means he can be himself around you, its up to you both if you want to take the friendship to the next level. what your friend said about you two is their opinion and you shouldnt base what you do next on what they say, although dont blow it off as nothing, listen to your friends as well, just not all the time lol.
just wait for it, if he likes you then he will make a move sooner or later, he doesnt sound like the shy type anyway. :P

Guys will always be guys - jokings and all that! Since he said he was only joking so give him the benefit of doubt that it was a joke gone bad. In life you will encounter scenarios such as this. Best is not to get too emotional. What your friends said about the two of you is but their own opinions. You too will need to form your own opinion if you like this guy. If you do, no harm having him as a friend and see how the friendship goes.

It's hard to tell. He could just be a big flirt! He could sincerely like you. There really is no telling if he does or doesn't. I've learned from some of my guy friends that they fear rejection but then again so do girls. So if he's willing to face his fear and ask you out give it a shot! But if he's not, he's probably not worth it. Unless of course you want to ask him out. That's up to you though, there's always going to be the possibility of rejection though.
