Well, if you wanted to stay at your weight, you'd be taking in about 1800 calories/day. But if you're looking for weight loss, I would say cut those calories down to 1300 at the most. Eating out is usually bad for a diet, so I would cut out all fast food and most restaurant foods. Do 45 minutes of cardio (running, walking, ellipticals, stationary bike) 3-5 times a week. I wouldn't recommend any weight training, since it will only increase your muscle mass, which won't change the number on the scale. Just eat healthy and be active!

Try eating Shirataki noodles with some lo cal sauce. It can be found at a health food store (or they can order it). I ate it 2 times a day with sauce, cut out sweets completely (including pop). The noodles have practically no calories (a little rubbery, but worth the results you'll get) and are very filling. I didn't eat any meals after 5pm and cut out breads and pastas completely. Exercise is a must. Hope this helps. I lost 30 lbs in 3 months.

i am 17 year old male, 110 pounds ( a healthy weight) and i am consierably shorter/smaller than the rest of the population, but i am a healthy wieght, so if you are any great deal taller than me, you are probably at a reasonable weight. And don't get caugh up in grad just to impress people, if you need to lose the weight, do it for yourself and don't do it by dieting, do it the safe way and the healthy way. Try this:
First thing- don't change how much you eat (unless it is WAY WAY to much), start out by changing what you are eating. If it comes in a diet option, try it. If you are drinking 1% milk, try skim (or the next percentage down), avoid juice (liquid calories are way to easy to consume and hard to get rid of).
Second thing- Watch out for when you are eating these things, often times it is better to have smaller meals and snack throughout the day.
Third thing- NEVER EAT FAST FOOD. It is essentially a slow acting poison on your body and can lead to more health problems than you can think of.
Fourth thing- if you don't exercise, start out going for walks in the park or somehting, then bring it up to a light jog (once you are comfortable), then slowley bring up the intensity.
Fifth thing- Evaluate everything you put in your mouth, (i.e. avoiding higher fat meats like ribs, pork.. try fish instead or dear or chicken... then general meat rule is that the fewer legs it had as an animal, the better it is for you). Also, think about what goes into you ask yourself, "Should I be eating this?"
Sixth thing- You don't have to be doing all this 100% of the time, treat yourself, but recognize your priorities when it comes to it and don't let "treating yourself" get out of hand.

Well if you are 5' 4" or over than you are at normal weight..Otherwise try examining your diet and exercise routine. Recommended calorie intake for a healthy female is around 1,900 a day with about 30 grams of fat. Try cutting it down to around 1,300 and 20-25 grams. Cut out sweets and soda pop in particular. Too much sugar is as detrimental to your health as too much fat. Drink eight 8 oz glasses of water a day, and exercise at least 30 minutes daily with an aerobic/walking rotation.
Good Luck
