its like saying, why would i bring my girlfriend to a party when theres already girls there!?!?! or the other way around...things like that...

Well, the sand to the beach means or should I say, would better read like this: If I were a woman, why would I take a man or if I were a man why would I take woman with me when there are plenty where I am going, okay. It's not a good saying for a boyfriend to tell his girlfriend, though, It shows very little respect to her and to their relationship, if it's suppose to be serious.

I wouldn't try to guess what he means by this, I would simply ask him to explain his statement because what he is saying makes no sense. People who are involved with each other should always have the ability to communicate clearly without playing silly, immature games with one another.
