My advice is
•Eat healthy! This included fruits and veggies!! Stay away from junk food, fast foods, candies/sweets and sodas.
•Drink water throughout the day!!! Even when you feel like you can't drink anymore, drink up!!
•Get active!!! Join a gym, go walking, ride a bike, run up and down steps, join sports..anything!!!!

I also recommend that you keep a journal of what you eat, when you eat and how many calories you're taking it. Sometimes we don't realize how many calories we really DO take in each day!

Keep in mind that a healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week.

Good luck!

Do you want to loose fat or just weight in general? well assuming that you want to loose fat and gain muscle start running. It really really helps. If you just diet, your not going to lose wait. That's the thing with being healthy. If you want to be healthy just eat portion sizes, treat yourself to something every once and awhile and excercise. Eat a balance nutritional meal, and 3 meals a day. Don't try anything crazy, like not eating, or diet pills. Even if you do lose weight with that, you'll gain it back. Start living a healthy lifestyle if your not already.

I've benefited by going on an almost gluten free diet. Basically, it's cutting out flour, wheat, rye, oatmeal. So I haven't had bread or pasta for 3 months. I exercise on my treadmill regularly. I don't consume sweets either. I recommend Shirataki noodles that can be found at the health food store. They are very filling; just add some lo-cal sauce to them. They are an acquired taste. I have lost 30 pounds in 3 months. Good luck to you.

We've just lost a total of about 30 lbs--- Easy to do:
I call it the push away diet !! Works every time--
Just eat one plate full of food and then push it away and don't eat anymore ( no refills !!!) 'till the next mealtime-- Eat 3 meals a day even if they are small ones. And drink lots, and lots of water in between-- It worked for us-- it's not fast but it works-- after you lose a few lbs. you won't even want to eat large amounts anymore !!
