When I was a teenager I often snitched my older sisters clothes and wore them to school. My older sister was, in my eyes, so sophisticated and good looking. I wanted to be just like her. Wearing her clothes was the closest I could get. Of course I never told her that :-) And of course she complained loudly when she caught me wearing her stuff. :-)
I suspect your little sister is doing the same thing...she is trying to capture some of the sophistication and glamor she sees in you.
Why don't you turn this into an opportunity to double your own wardrobe? You and she could spend some time helping one another develop your own unique styles. Make it fun; try out new hairdos, makeup, and of course clothes. Figure out your colors...are you a summer? a fall? That sort of thing is such a blast. Imagine if you could help her develop her own unique fashion style - she might not need to borrow your clothes to feel confident about her looks. Or better yet, she adopts a style that looks good on you too - then you have twice as many clothes to wear.
Maybe your parents can spend the money they were going to spend on locks to buy you and she a larger closet. ;-)
Good luck

tell your mom that if you put a lock on the dresser then she can have the extra key. tell her that you want to make sure your sister doesnt get into your stuff.
heres another trick you can do. why dont you start to go into your sisters room and start to use her stuff. she will see what you are doing and she will most likely stop. ( even if it doesnt fit or it is ugly try it anyway on a weekend or something). trust me it will work. do what she does. good luck.

Your best bet would be to ask for a lock on your door. I think she's probably saying no because she does your laundry and doesn't want to mess around with a key. But having your room locked is less of a bother, and it's nice if you want to change.

how about moving out to get your own pad....wait your still a kid right? Try giving your mom your valuables and that way your sister crosses you moms boundaries instead of yours. This moves concequences to a new level. I wouldnt allow it either and I am a parent too.

Sinde your mom said no then you will have to buy your own chest and lock your better clothes in it. Make sure Mom has a key or she'll be mad.

Tell them you're not trying to hide anything & that you will give them keys to the locks so they can see you're not trying to hide anything.
