We're close friends and I know he likes me because he tells me he finds me attractive regularly. He also flirts with me whenever we're together. However despite my best efforts, nothing seems to happen. I'm not quite sure what I find so sexy about him - he's not especially attractive but he just seems so alluring and makes me feel something I never feel when we're apart.
But sometimes I can't help but think he is only using me and sees me as another girl. It's not that he acts in a way to make me believe that, but he does have a reputation, and when he was with his ex, he would try and make a move on me regularly, despite me telling him I wasn't interested.
I know it's foolish to say someone has changed but I truly believe he isn't the same person as he was then and when I'm with him he makes me feel like the most important person in the world, like he would do anything to make me smile. I'm just so confused? Any ideas? Please, they would be more than welcome!

Some peoples past does not change...but there are also others who can change. It depends on the person. But you know deep down the truth. And if you even have to ask the question then you know! and just to let you know ANY man can give you a compliment, that does not mean they care, nor does it mean they love you...Havent you received a compliment from a complete stranger? This doesnt mean marry him. Some men with expierence can pin point females who need that in their life, and think that is all they need to do. But truth be told you can get a compliment from a blind man, so please dont base being with him on the fact that be builds up your self-esteam. You DONT need a man for that.

I've been there ..it was exactly the same thing u r talking about ..that kind of men don't change and don't love ...all the girls are the same for them..and they have that strange way that makes every girl feel like a queen , a princess ...as you said "the most important thing in the world"..watch out ..he's playing you ..
i lived the same situation ..all the people told me he's a player ..but his words made me stay ..now i regret every moment i spent with him ..!!!

He's the same guy and is trying to manipulate you into something he wants. A leopard can't change his spots and he's telling that those spots you see aren't really spots at all, he's changed, he'd never do what he did etc. etc. etc. That's all baloney. You can count on it. When confused suspect lies.

All people like to feel wanted he Might see that you like him but he is not interested and just wants to say to the guy's " You know that girl she likes me." Be distant and see how he reacts.

You need to take it one day at a time he sounds to me he does like you but cuz u told more than once u weren't interested in him hes like try not to show you his feelings try to tell him that u like him but take it slow

It's very hard to say what he is on but he is playing with everybody's emotions.Trust your instincts and tell him you are not the one to be played with.
