How did the fresh water separate from the sea water and does the Bible mention a great freeze (and redistribution of the Earth's salt/fresh water reserves)? If all this didn't happen quickly, why does the Bible not mention that the water was around for MUCH longer that it says?
I guess you've already been asked why all that fresh water didn't kill all the sea fish, so I'll save that. Thanks for all answers.

You would be astonished at my familiarity with AiG's explanation of things. They're funny.
It doesn't rain salt water. It's Creationists who claim that the water from the Flood is now stored at the poles allowing the sea levels to fall exposing the land, not me.

um, did I read that right? Did someone actually answer that ice is frozen fresh water and not salt water???
Your questions are provoking answers that scare me for the educational system of the U.S., my friend.

if 3 meters of snow can fall on one city in one day (this past winter) don't you think an awful lot more snow and/or ice pellets could fall over a period of several weeks, the weight of which would conceivably compress into huge ice sheets?
The water needed for this deluge would have come from extreme climate adjustments that would have been taking place at the time the flood was winding down.
And yes, it's scientifically verifiable.

Not where the polar ice caps originated. The flood was not global, just global as the people of the times believed the world to be.

Umm, dontcha think the water froze before the flood? The Bible says the waters flooded the land, not the ice caps.

Ice is frozen WATER. Not frozen salt water.
If you're going to ask sarcastic questions, at least get the facts straight.

A global flood is a myth, it never happened. Hope that answers your question.
