AUDIOBAHN A8002 2-channel amplifier (I would run bridged --- 800watt @ 4-ohm) with 2 KICKER S12L7-4 12" L7 SOLO-BARIC's (4-ohm)

Does that sound like a good setup? and how would i wire that up?

you would wire it in series /parralell to 4ohm bridged mono
I would go for more power though (if you want more sound )
I usaully recommend 1600 - 2000 rms for this same setup in a large ported enclosure.

yes, thats a nice setup, first of all im assuming your subs are dual voice coil, their should be 2 sets of terminals on the back of each sub. you can use both channels on the amp to get all 800 watts out of it as long as your subs are running at 2 ohms each, you will get 400 watts a channel as long as its producing a 2 ohm load, so what you want to do is on the back of each sub, take a set of wires and wire one positive to the other positive on the other side of the speaker and the negative to the other negative on the other side of the speaker, now take a positive and a negative from whichever side you want but they have to be from the same side and wire them to one channel on the amp, do the same with the other sub and wire it to the other channel on the amp, you will then be running both subs at a 2ohm load in stereo and they will be getting 400 watts a sub, good luck, keep me updated!!!
