A.] Obviously because it's just so much nicer looking. However, I would say that almost every Christian out there...The hard core ones at least... are B. Christians are nice yet mean to un-christians. In my opinion anyways. I am christian yet i do not like the attitude of some. I just be me and deal with the others. You are entitled to your own opinion... so what if that guy over there is an athiest. You wanna change him? go for it. I would rather not help him. Un-christian? probably. but it's not my fault is it? I refuse to try to change people like every other person in the world.

I guarantee that made no sense at all,
but it did to me.

:]

And you are A. and all Christians are B. Right? Christians NEVER help people. And our troops in the Middle East are there just to kill people not work toward peace... Your question make you sound very self righteous... I guess you are unaware that more humanitarian works are done by Christian groups than by all the aid given by any government.. But Christians are evil .. We are responsible for all the evils in the world... As for the war (I guess that is important to be against if you are a person who helps the poor and loves peace) my country is important to me. I support our troops and respect what they are doing. Helping people build a stable country that will not threaten their neighbors, nor kill their own citizens. But it's anti peace to want that for the good people of that region. It's anti peace to stop the proliferation or nuclear weapons. Yes War is sometime necessary to stop evil. Going to hell.. Any Christian (real Christian) will do anything in their power to try and prevent a single soul from that fate. As fair and condemning anyone... NOT OUR JOB.. Only God has the right to condom. Only God had the power to offer a way out of the condemnation... So give us the self righteous I'm better than you are attitude. Come to Christ and give Him the credit for all the good thing He is placing on your heart to do... He can use someone of such great conviction.. Jim

Well, this question is obviously set up. If somebody says b), they will look like an idiot. I think your question should be phrased a little bit differently, but I will show you my priorities.
1. Spread the Gospel to the nations.
No good deed you can perform will come anywhere close to this. Adopt a needy child, send food to a third world country... these things will pass away. We must be far more concerned about people's souls, which are eternal, than their bodies, which will pass away and return to dust. That's not to say that we should not provide assistance to those who need it, but we must remember what is really important.
2. Give glory to the Lord in all things and spend time with Him in prayer.
It is important to remember that whatever good deeds we do, our hearts must be right with God and we must be acting in God and for God, or else it's not worth anything. You must also spend time in prayer, because this will change your life and show people what true Christian is like.

Now, in regards to homosexuality, I believe it is a sin. It is explicitly stated in Leviticus 18:22- "Do not practice homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman. It is a detestable sin." I believe we need to warn and pray for those who practice this abomination. God loves them just as much as anybody else, but it is definitely a sin and must be punished.
You used the term "insulting" several times in your question. I agree that we should not insult others, but we do need to warn them of what they're heading for. If we neglect to do so, then we are guilty of sending them to hell.
As for "rebelling against doing wrong doing and war," I don't think that's right. We should certainly not participate in wrongdoing, but to rebel is extreme. We need to make known wrongdoings when we see them. And wars- well, God told the Israelites to fight and wipe out all the bad guys, so obviously war isn't a bad thing as long as you're fighting the right thing. In fact, sometimes the Hebrews didn't fight as they should have and they left their enemies alone. They had a chance to wipe out the Philistines, but they didn't. This caused incredible problems for them later on. So I believe that because of men's sinful nature, war is necessary.
I hope this answers most of your questions. If not, email me at pianoman.jeremy@yahoo.com

More of 'a' we are to reflect the beauty of Christ's love and grace. Sometimes because He wanted the best for us He told us straight up that we were wrong, that we had fallen short of the glory of God, but He never condemned anyone. See John 3:16-17. He came as our hope, as our savior. He healed the sick, showed mercy to the merciless, He showed forgiveness. In 1 Corinthians 13:4 you can replace the world love with Jesus or Christ and all of the words describing love describe Him perfectly, and if we claim to be followers of Christ this verse should begin to describe our character too.

God Bless!

B) because it could end the deceit of the Devil and end up having someone go to Heaven. It is better to know the Truth when something can be done about it than it is to wait until it's too late and nothing can be done but they feel angry/offended/hurt in Hell for eternity instead of how long it would take to tell them on earth. Helping the poor for a little while is important, but it is more important to worry about people's eternal souls.

fiddich: I support your " A" part to your question posed, with the one exception of rebelling against war. "If any man knows to do good and does it not, it is a sin to him" ( Book of James, 4th chapter, 17th verse) . Part "B" , contains improper conduct for a converted Christian apart from, both, praying and acting like Jesus. Remember; a christian needs to focus on the fact that the christian life is not about what others are NOT but - what he or she IS !!!

Christianity is a way of life and it involves all the aspects that Christ taught us including standing against and exposing evil for what it is. Telling people that they will go to hell is the truth. Teaching the truth that homosexuality is a sin is necessary.

Definitely A. Everything listed in A is following the example of Christ. With the exception of attending Church, everything in B is following someone else's example, someone the opposite of Christ. Peace be with you

The majority of self-proclaimed Christians I have known are in the b category. I find them to be spiritually weak, morally corrupt and most sadly of all are only capable of defining their "faith" buy what they are against. It's so sad.

A is more important. It is important to act like Jesus and if you do you will automatically do A and definately not B. That is certainly not Christianlike.
