Why are so many people on here only angry with the christian faith? It would seem to me that if people are truly honest they wouldn't single out just the one religion to despise. The fact that so many people hate christianity only reinforces my belief in Christ as my Lord and Savior, or else why would it be so much more intense of a debate than other religions? Let me clarify. It seems to me that on this forum most of the strongest remarks are directed towards christianity. That is fine with me, because it gives us an opportunity to spread God's Word, through the debates that happen here.

I don't hate Christians, I don't hate anyone! I actually love everyone. What I don't like is the constant condemnation by Christians for anyone who is not Christian! I don't like the name calling and close minded attitude toward religions that they know nothing about and don't want to learn! This, of course, does not apply to all Christian. only the fundamentalists who can't see that there is something out there that is different, you know, know, all those that say if you do not follow Jesus you are evil. These people try to be judge, jury and executioner for God in the name of Jesus. I have friends in just about every religion out there and we are friends because we can embrace differences. I am a witch, will you be my friend? Or will you be like those who are full of hate? I think the pope and people like him might be my friend.

Are you sure Jesus said that, or just some guy writing a book, since the bible was written almost 200 years after his death. And 100's of other books wernt even put into the bible, WHY NOT? And there are so many inconsistancies with the new testament. One part says one thing, then another says the opposite. I am Christain, But lately Ive been looking at everything more closely and not just listening to what people try to make me believe only on faith. If I said this color is blue but it was really red and I said have faith, IT IS BLUE, would you be stupid enough to believe me

The world isn't just angry with our faith. They are angry with Muslims and Jews too. I don't hear much about any other faith. Perhaps you feel we are hated more than the others. If this is so, the only answer is because we have brought it on ourselves. We cannot really be followers of Christ ( loving our neighbor as ourself) if we condemn and judge those around us. Seeing Christians through others eyes ( and I have) it is no wonder why so many people dislike us. Gandhi said that he liked our Christ, but not our Christians. Our Christians are nothing like our Christ.

I believe it's because Christianity is the only true faith and satan knows that of course--even if people don't. And satan hates Christians most of all, because they know the truth, so he uses every bit of influence he has on people to attack Christians. He doesn't have to bother (as much) attacking other faiths, because the bottom line is if you haven't accepted Christ then you go to hell.

In many places in the Bible it speaks of the hate the world will have for Jesus. Satan hates the truth and will deceive many. All you can do is witness to people of the truth of God's word and if people refuse, then move on and pray for those that are blind to the truth in Jesus and forgive them. You have to learn to blow it off and not let it bother you so much. Just make sure that you do your best to do what Jesus has commanded us all, and do your best to not be deceived by Satan. There will be times that you are mocked, made fun of and ridiculed. Forgive them and go on with your walk in God's light and truth.

I have been here since Dec. 2005 and it is not "just" Christianity..Many Pagans and Wiccans have been attacked..as well as Atheists.. :(
Not all here hate us..I know many that do not..they just are striking back at the Christians that condemn them..
We should always approach others with Love.. :)

Anger comes from satan and he does not care if you like the other religions or not just so you don't become a Christian and follow Jesus and except Him as Savior.

Not just christianity.....people hate islam also. More than christianity. There are so many sites devoted to spreading hate about islam. so should I see this hate toward islam as reinforcement that my religion is truth?

And it's a debate here because it makes no sense to debate largely unrepresented religions - that'd be called a rant, where no rebuttal could reasonably be expected. Is debate unsettling for you? Do others' beliefs, differing from yours, threaten you?
