Most laundry soaps are pretty toxic so if he has this all over his body he may well have a reaction to it. Switch to an all natural non toxic laundry products and see if this helps. DO take him to the docs though to get this evaluated. It could be caused by soap, bleach or something else.

Little blisters and/or rash is typical for an allergy but not so typical for a reaction to soap powder. It can also come from wearing new clothes that haven't been washed yet since the sizing which makes them look so nice in the store often contains things like formaldehyde.

Usually a red raised rash over the affected area. It will be itchy. It sounds as though your son may have an allergic reaction.

any soap can cause an allergic reaction, change soaps, use something mild like dove. It can also cause excessive drying, blistering and peeling.
