My buddy being the helpful guy that he is downloaded a software program for me from limewire, before i could safely check it out he opened it and now my computer is infected with viruses and crap. Can anyone tell me a good free program to fix this issue please. i have ad-aware but this isnt helping the problem. contact me if you have any other suggestions thanks!

go to www.download.com and download spyware search and destroy. they also have other great programs that are free as well!

Then you can get a free tool ( Tweak-N-Tune )that will never let your home page be hijacked again. You will have to wait about 20 seconds whenever your computer has to be restarted (to accept the run once application to run at startup)

Never open the stuff from any download, instead right click and scan it with your antivirus (AVG) or (Avast) both free and very good.
