Well it would help if we had an idea as to what or why. But it will pass. Just go with the flow kind of thing. If need be just take some time out for you even if it means spending that time alone. Wish I could help further, but it really depends on why you are feeling depressed. When I get that way, I just be in the moment cause I know it will pass. It may not feel good at the moment but when it passes you feel better.

Hi, well what you could do is go treat yourself to a nice snack and just chill and try to think about what it is that is making you so depressed. My son comes down once a month and he just left and I am very depressed right now but I have to just keep on keeping on right, if I sat in a depressed mood I would just be wasting alot of time right and feeling like ****. So all you can do is try and look on the bright side of things and whatever the case is that your depressed just look at the positive side of it, there is always a positive side of things.
I always like to write as well when I'm depressed ya know because you can't hold on to that feeling all day long and if you write about how your feeling that will help, I've done that for years and it has worked alright for me.
You could always go chill with a good friend to, that is supportive and understanding. Talk about it with someone, there is no sense in holding on to these thoughts that drowned your mind because you are just going to get more and more depressed so.........
Just keep your head up and don't let depression stop your life maybe for a minute because we all have things in our life that suck but you have to just get through it and move on.
Good luck.

it really depends on many things. do you have these feelings often? do they last for more than 10 days at a time? if not, you might be having a bad day or a rough patch in life, which is normal. if so, you could be suffering from symptoms of an anxiety disorder or even depression. pay really close attn to what you are doing or what is going on around you when these feelings take place. no matter what anyone says, these are not things in your control and you may need to seek some help from a doctor. there is no reason to be ashamed of this. anxiety and depression are illnesses, just like diabetes. would you be ashamed if you had diabetes? it is really important to take care of yourself, if you don't, this could get worse and you could end up feeling worse. talk to someone you trust and take it from there. here is a site that might help you explore this a little better too:

I have anxiety depression. That means I do not eat stress well. Use to love the stuff, but not anymore.
I've been in a depressed state for the last 4 days. Here is what I am doing.
I have the TV on for background noise and I work on my EBay and answer these questions and play a few games on the computer. It is quite time. No one comes over and I don't answer the phone.
The TV and my pets and especially the cat curled in my lap are my company.
It's peaceful and yet I'm not alone, the whole world is outside my door and on my computer and I make the choice whether to join them or not.

Try your best to dig deep and find the positive, even in the negative. I know it sounds crazy, but if you think really hard you can always find the positive.
So your feel a little depressed, who doesn't get down every now and then? So don't get down on yourself about being down, if that makes any sense.
So go into a room, throw on your best outfit and put some crazy music and just dance very very badly on your bed! Not for any particular reason, just because!
Do stuff for you -- whatever you enjoy, rent some movies, read your favorite book, play with your cat or dog.
Hopefully that helps!

Look at your life and face what is making you depressed then try to deal with it. You can do this by talking to a family member or a councillor. If the depression is really bad it will be caused by a chemical imbalance and will need treating by a doctor.
Don`t take any notice of people who tell you to snap out of it that is like telling the tide not to turn. You need some TLC and understanding.

Find an activity to do that you enjoy. Take some time for yourself. Exercise is good, but people who are depressed usually dont feel like exercising.Drinking or drugs are no good as the problem is there after the effects wear off. Try to find the root of your depression, and confront it with a positive attitude. Failing that, i find a holiday usually helps. Think tahat there is always someone worse off than you. Watching comic relief made me realise that. Good luck, and keep smiling.:-)

In the first instance I'd always recommend visiting the doctor - they've heard it all before and may be able to prescribe you something to take the edge off things.Perhaps, hopefully, in the great big scheme of things what your'e feeling low about just now might not always be that important 2 you? - if so don't waste 2 much energy worrying bout it.
It's only by experiencing the depths that you'll know to breath when you reach the surface, Darling!

P.S Been on the edge myself many times . . . I'm thinking of you :)

ups and downs are a part of life , how could u appreciate the ups if u never had the downs. tomorrow another day , summer will soon be here.if u feel theres no reason for it , maybe visit ur gp or talk to someone. but sometimes theres usually an underlying reason. but remember u wont be down forever. so just go with the flow. we dont fight being happy , sad or angry so dont fight being depressed , just let it run its course. its just a step away from happy days.so chill and take it easy and go easy on urself

Alot of ways, take a walk, engage in something you really like to do, call a friend and talk about something that made you laugh. Answer some of the goofy questions posted here, and let your sense of humor loose. Just do something. You will be feeling better in no time.
