Just say that "that I think we should see other people and we can still be friends. I'm sorry".

O.K you want to break up with your boyfriend right? Obvious because you don't want to be with him right? Then why are you so concern of being his friend after all? Just be honest and tell him the reasons you don't want to be his girlfriend. Tell him that you two can still be friends and if he said "no" once again. Then don't insist. Before you do anything think it over, because I think you still feeling something for him if you still concerned about not being friends. You are going to hurt his feelings if you stay with him if you don't love him any more.

Sit him down and talk to him. Let him know how you feel so you guys and work it out. If it still doesn't seem right, then break up with him. Let him know you really care for him and you really don't want to lose each others friendship but being a couple isn't working out. Good luck.

I don't think there's really an easy way to do this.
Be gentle with him when you're breaking up. Give him a hug. But not a very long hug. Tell him you still want to be friends.
He's probably going to want his space for a while away from you so I wouldn't expect immediate results.

The reason why he doesnt want to beyour friend after you break up is probably because he feels its awkward to be someone's friend when you hurt them. Dont worry, its not like it means that you cant ever talk to him again. You can talk to him but just not be his friend.

Short answer: NO.
You and he have moved beyond the friendship stage. People are not like water faucets to be turned on and off at will.
You want to have your cake and eat it too. Doesn't work that way.

why do you wanna break?
it will hurt no matter HOW nice you are, so don't feel bad about urself...just give him a hug or sumthing. ;( it's better 2 be honest and not stay w/ some1 if u don't want to.

Just break up with him if he doesn't want to be your friend you'll get over it. I'm sure you can find other friends. Tell him you would just like to be friends and that you want to be alone for now. To please understand you.

be honest with him and tell him how you feel, the friendship thing may take awhile to happen but eventually it will...he might be hurt for a bit but he will survive and so will you....
