Ray:
YES, It can affect your kidneys! Aside from the irritating "broken seal" effect where once a person has gone to the bathroom since the start of a drinking binge, you inevitably have to go every ten minutes after that, it seems! Your kidneys filter your body's blood & remove waste product & pass it on to your bladder to be removed. . Your liver can also be affected & more often than not, IT suffers the brunt of heavy drinking. It is a filter too, and too much drinking can lead to liver Cirrhosis, which is basically the out-right destruction of your liver, which can eventually lead to a very painful death. So yeah, easy on the drinking. It affects EVERY organ in your body.

Interestingly, it could be, but you always hear
about the liver. I am a music head and two
musicians I liked died of kidney disease.
Now I know the Foghat singer drank, I am
not sure about Albert Collins.
Two rules of thumb.
Drink water, and eat! no one ever talks
about eating. Food absorbs the alcohol.
It absorbs the liquid that the alcohol is in.
