Windows Media Player doesn't play .ram files. However, you can install codec pack that will make it work on WMP. This also includes .mp4 and iTunes file. Go to www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm
and download and install the Full Version of K-Lite Codec Pack.

Hi here.

.RAM extensions can't be played by Windows Media Player that I know of. It's a Real Media audio file. You'll need to download their real media player in order to play your file extension.

Hope this helps
