oxycontin snorting?

Hi i have someone i am related to that sniffs oxycontin a lot and i am wondering from a doctor or well expericenced person what are the effects of doing this? longterm effects?

I have several sites for U on snorting Oxycontin. I have been on it for the last 3-1/2 yrs. I have a spinal disease & have been in pain management for 8 yrs. I have a broad knowledge of drugs, effects & I have been on most all opiates and other class drugs, so I do know what I'm talking about. Snorting OC you feel the effects much faster than if taken orally. What happens to too many people doing this is they will end up doing too much in a short time & OD. OC slows down your breathing rate, too much you pass out & could OD. They make them now where you can't inject them any more, they jel up, so snorting is the next best thing to getting the effects fast asp.
