Why do people condemn witches to hell?
Isn't hell also a superstition?
And what about God, The Devil or the Gods, aren't they also just superstition?
Magick can be done in any gods name...
What on earth is not a superstition?

Suspendo…: 'Hell' mean 'death' or 'grave'. The Christian version of hell is not Jewish. It is a defiled version of the Pagan Underworld, it is Pagan heresy. Christianity is Pagan heresy lol!! I'm just joking. I love heresy. Christianity is not cool enough to have that label...sorry.

People do not condemn witches to Hell. God does if they will not abandon their evil. However, this is true of ALL evil, not just witchcraft.
No. Hell, God, and the Devil are very real.
Yes, you're right that magick can be done in any god's name; or even no god's name at all. The Devil (who is quite content if you are deceived into believing he's not real) doesn't care what lie gets you into whatever evil you fall for, as long as you fall for it.
A superstition is, by definition, not true. Anything true cannot be a superstition. Remember this doesn't depend upon whether you think it's true or not. It depends only upon whether it is true or not. You're perception (right or wrong) is irrelevent.
As for "science not starting wars"; ever hear of World War II? The NAZIs were convinced they were the master race. Where did they get that idea? Evolution.

You are assuming an awful lot. 'Magick' is practiced by perfectly rational people. It works. How is that superstitious? Nobody condemns witches to hell. The Bible says suffer not a witch to live. Nothing about where she'll end up.
You're asking if God and the devil are superstitions. But logic says that God must exist, and God says that the devil exists.
To those who close their eyes, EVERYTHING can be a 'superstition'. As you have quite effectively demonstrated.

I don't think people who condemn witches to hell believe that magick is a superstition. That would be the smug, supercilious CSICOP types. Christians--both Catholic and Protestant--have historically taken witchcraft and magick very seriously. In many ways, Chrisztianity requires the existence of Satan. John Wesley--founder of Methodism--said that to deny the existence and potency of witches and witchcraft was the same as denying the Bible and the Christian God.

ALL supernatural belief is superstition. If you were to assemble all the holy men, witches, cultists, and mumbo-jumbo practitioners, lock them in a room, and tell them, "show me something real, provable, tangible"; they would show you NOTHING. It is ALL in the head, there is no proof, just words, and gullible people. Science and anything repeatedly provable is NOT fiction. Education, the Natural sciences, Medical research, anything pursuing truth and the improvement of mankind, is NOT superstition.

They uses to burn witches for causing the plague. They used to beat epileptics to drive out the demons. Obviously those people thought witchcraft was real.
But that was then and this is now. Today we still have people who find it amusing to call themselves witches but they can't do anything that you can't do. Yes, witchcraft and magic(k) are superstition.

Hi Paradox!
Jesus supposedly turned water into wine. Did he go to "hell" for magic? Oh yea, he performed "miracle". Maybe David Copperfield is a messiah too.
Bottom line, I have no desire and no right to condemn anyone for being different than myself.

if you take a good look at all the past religions before christianity they almost all became myths, so what is to stop one from calling cristianity a myth, and to start saying anything that deals with it isn't superstious. but for the most part it is all what one believes in.

Witches are condemned not because they can do any real magic, because they think they are equal to God.

People who spell magic with a k are self proclaimed occultists.
The mytghology of christianity is falling apart on a daily basis.
There is no certain kind of magic i.e. black or white, just magic.
The trick is to work with nature, and not against it.
