I was 19. Was going to college, it was in the summer, and I found a job opening about 100 miles away. I went there, got the job, got a apartment, mom bought me some groceries, and drove off and left me. Been on my own ever since.
Liked the job, and made a living at it, didn't get to return to college, which was the bad part of it. No regrets, either, was glad to get out of the house.

I was 18. I had just finished school. My dad came up with a long list of things I must do each day since I didn't pay rent. I decided I would rather pay rent and make my own rules, so i found a VERY small place and left.

It was 2 days after my 18th bday. I was out of there no matter how! I would have been gone sooner if I could- I'm an independent self appreciating person. I left and got a job and now I'm still gone now that it's a few years later, miles and miles away, making money and living with my husband & happy as a clam.
